Cheap Andrew Wiggins Jersey Discount

The NBA announced Monday there was one incorrect no-call and noted the officiating crew didn’t see Timberwolves coach Tom Thibodeau calling for timeout in the final 5 seconds of the frantic finish against the Thunder that led to Andrew Wiggins’ game-winning buzzer-beater on Sunday.

Karl-Anthony Towns’ screen on Paul George that freed Wiggins was ruled to have been illegal, based on Towns’ stance being too wide. The report notes Towns was stationary but his leg was out, which clipped George.

“I ain’t looked at it but I’m pretty sure, it looked like it [was illegal],” Russell Westbrook said after the Thunder’s 115-113 loss to the Timberwolves. “I haven’t seen it but I think it is, just based on the conversation we had in the locker room.”
According to the NBA, there were two incorrect no-calls in the closing seconds of Sunday's frantic Thunder-Timberwolves finish that led to Andrew Wiggins' game-winning buzzer-beater.
George was slow to get up after the play, but said following the game he was unsure if the screen was legal or not.

“I don’t know if it was illegal or legal,” George said. “The officials are human like we are, they make mistakes. Like we turn the ball over. It’s part of the game. Give Wiggins credit for making a big shot.”

The report also said Thibodeau signaled for timeout despite not having any remaining following Carmelo Anthony’s go-ahead 3 with 5 seconds remaining. Official Gary Zielinski was standing in front of Thibodeau, with his back to the coach, as he signaled for a timeout. It’s unclear if Thibodeau verbally called for a timeout as well.

“People want to point fingers at why things happen all the time instead of saying, ‘OK, how did I contribute to that?'” Thunder coach Billy Donovan said of the timeout situation. “I think we’ve got to look at coming down the stretch what were things we could have done better … No question that was going on, I saw that, but for me I let the league office deal with that. That’s their problem. I’ve got to deal with what we’ve got to try to get better at.”

Cheap Richard Jefferson Jersey Discount

Free-agent forward Richard Jefferson has agreed to a one-year, $2.3 million contract with the Denver Nuggets, league sources told ESPN.

Denver will likely waive veteran guard Jameer Nelson to make room on the 15-man roster for Jefferson, league sources said.

Jefferson, 37, cleared waivers on Monday and informed the Nuggets of his desire to join the franchise in its push to make the Western Conference playoffs, league sources said.

Nuggets president and governor Josh Kroenke enjoys a strong friendship with Jefferson, and Denver believes Jefferson can play a role with a strong rotation of forwards that include Paul Millsap, Wilson Chandler, Juan Hernangomez and Kenneth Faried.

The Atlanta Hawks waived Jefferson after completing a trade with the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday.

Jefferson has played 16 NBA seasons, averaging 12.8 points for his career. He was a part of the Cavaliers’ 2015-16 NBA championship team, and averaged 5.7 points in 20 minutes a game for Cleveland in the 2016-17 season.

Cheap Joel Embiid Jersey Free Shipping

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid has agreed to a five-year, $148 million designated rookie scale maximum contract extension, league sources told ESPN.

Embiid, one of the NBA’s most talented and popular young players, has the ability to earn an additional $30 million — bringing the value of the contract to as much as $178 million — if he earns an All-NBA first-, second- or third-team selection, or is named MVP this season, league sources said. The designated rookie scale extension — termed “the super-max” — reflects 30 percent of the 2018-19 salary cap if Embiid reaches the performance-based criteria.

Based on the details of what sources are describing as a complex contract structure, the 76ers would have to waive Embiid for him not to reach the full value of his $148 million extension.

76ers coach Brett Brown, without commenting on the contract’s specifics, told media before Monday’s preseason game at Boston that Embiid has transformed the 76ers with “his physical presence; he does it with a defensive mindset, and he does it with an offensive target that is different than anything else that we have.”
The 76ers agreed with Joel Embiid on a five-year, $148 million designated rookie scale maximum contract extension, according to league sources.
“When he has been able to practice with us, he has changed the gym,” Brown said.

The deal represents the 76ers’ commitment to Embiid’s talent, given that he has been healthy enough to play in only 31 regular-season games since Philadelphia selected him with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft.

“You don’t give up that tag freely — but he has a chance to be great,” Brown said. “There’s still a lot of work to be done. You know, when you look at his body of work — only playing 31 games, and really he’s only been playing basketball for six years, and he’s 23. He’s just scratching the surface.”

The extension solidifies Embiid as a cornerstone of the franchise’s future.

“He does things on a court that remind me of, you know, somebody that’s able to hear music and just play the song,” Brown said. “You know, he will study [Tim] Duncan, or study KD, or another player, and all of a sudden it’s a part of his game. He’s very unique, very unique.”

The deal will include some salary-cap protection for the 76ers should Embiid suffer injury that causes him to miss significant playing time, league sources said.

The $25.3 million salary for Embiid in 2018-19 will rank third among NBA centers, trailing behind only Hassan Whiteside and Andre Drummond.

Brown called Embiid a “difference-maker.”

Cheap LeBron James Jersey Outlet Sale

LeBron James went through a full practice Thursday for the first time since tweaking his left ankle last week and could play in the Cleveland Cavaliers’ preseason game against the Indiana Pacers on Friday, said Cavs coach Tyronn Lue.

“We’ll see how he feels after going through practice today,” Lue said.

It would be the Cavs first test of their new-look starting lineup of Kevin Love, Jae Crowder, J.R. Smith and Derrick Rose flanking James.

The four-time MVP has been sidelined since stepping on the foot of Cavs rookie Cedi Osman in the second day of training camp. Osman, who has been dealing with back spasms, will be given the Pacers game off to rest after shouldering a heavier workload than expected in Wednesday’s 109-93 preseason loss to the Atlanta Hawks after filling in for the injured Iman Shumpert.

“It’s his first game so he’s going to be excited,” Lue said of Osman who had six points on 2-for-6 shooting, two rebounds, two assists, two turnovers and three fouls in his debut. “Wants to play well and I thought he did a good job, especially missing a couple practices and being off for a couple days. To come in and play the way he did, I was very pleased with it. He’s going to make some mistakes and that’s part of it. But as a player, I love his approach. I love what he does. He’s only going to continue to get better.”

Shumpert injured his left foot after landing awkwardly following a dunk attempt in the first quarter against Atlanta. He was examined by Cavs team physicians Thursday and underwent an MRI that confirmed a left foot sprain. He is expected to return to play in 7-10 days, per the Cavs, effectively ending his preseason. Cleveland’s final preseason game is Oct. 13th on the road against the Orlando Magic.

“We’ll see,” Lue said of Shumpert. “We’ll see how he feels. He always heals pretty good. He heals faster than anyone I’ve ever seen. We’ll just see how he feels.”
